Milan tour

Salam and hi,

This post basically is for me having my memories back. kahkah. Behave efi behave. I always lupe apa I buat bila travel. Lagi banyak tempat pergi, lagi lupe ape yang dah buat. Bila orang tanye, I macam "erm erm...well, you can google you know. I pun buat macam tu dulu before pergi" haha Padahal sendiri sudah lupa. So, rasa macam baik buat something sebelum penyakit ni lagi bertambah teruk. huhu

Alrite. So, ni ialah sambungan Italy tour last year. This time, kami ke Milan pulak. We went there by train from Rome. Rase perjalanan macam 12 hours jugak. Overnight dalam train je. Patah pinggang jugak la tido satu malam atas kerusi. Loya-loya dah bile sampai kat Milan. haha. But, of course bila masuk je toilet, basuh muke, gosok gigi ok dah. Cuz we dont stay in Milan that long (tak overnight pun), so kitorang terus naik tube Milan pergi ke Stadium Milan. Good thing Milan provide tube map dekat train station, so senang jugak la ke sini.

Tak ingat perjalanan berape minit, but rase dalam 30 mins or so je. hehe. Akhirnya setelah berpenat lelah dari Rome, sampai jugak ke Stadium Milan. Mule-mule cam tak sure nak masuk ke tak dalam stadium sebab kena bayar 25Euro rasenye untuk tour stadium. But, alang-alang da sampai once in a lifetime, masuk je la walaupun time ni almost pokai dah. haha

 I yang ayu

 budak-budak yang tak ayu

 melompat keriangan sangat

 layan jer :D

again

and again

 dalam stadium

dalam stadium lagi. Kaka nye jersey kat belakang

 gossip depan-depan orang

rase cam lagi cool kalau dok tangga

 ni photographer yang cun

 antare dalam stadium punye pemandangan

 kerusi-kerusi stadium

kedai official dalam mahal, kedai kat lua stadium murah sket kiki

After dah puas merayau-rayau dalam Stadium Milan, kami pun pergi ke Milan Cathedral. Tempat ni memang favourite pelancong cam kitorang sebab gabak gile church die. Style gothic yang cantik gitu. Rugi jugak la kalo tak jejak kaki ke sini kan. One more, sini macam tempat pembiakan burung merpati sebab banyak gile burung merpati kat sini. Cam boleh pijak-pijak je. Naseb baik kitorang macam ade roti lebih, cam syok jugak la kalau bagi burung merpati makan kan. Walaupun nampak cambest, sebenarnye takut jugak bile banyak sangat burung tu kerumun. Rase cam kene kepung by evil birds yang lahap mahukan makanan.

 kasi makan kasi makan

Milan Cathedral from front
.....malas kasi caption dah pasni hahahaha

tak tau ni muke excited sangat atau muke tgh takut sangat kasi burung makan gagaga

itu mamat tgh cankung tgk che kasi makan

roti yang kami hancuskan

I geli-geli bile burung patuk-patuk. Terpaksa orang pegang tangan so tak gegar-gegar kegelian. Nanti shaking sangat gamba

Et memang always cool jeee

Seronok la kat sini. Milan pun memang cantik. Rugi jugak singgah sekejap je. But I guess, Italy as overall memang cantik pun. Banyak tempat berbaloi pergi. Makanan halal quite senang cari. Barang ade murah ade mahal of course. Orang-orang walaupun tak boleh cakap English and tak mesra alam sangat, but like I care sgt la kan. Gune je la map mencari-cari tempat. Independent skit. Hehe Walaupun ade experience dicopet duit jugak kat dalam train (ulil nye experience), but I guess we can learn from that. Never evah letak dompet dalam poket belakang especially for the guys.

Perbelanjaan for trip ke Italy ni ade lah dalam 400pound sorang. But 8 days kot. Include accommodation, transport, makan, beli souvenir, bayar-bayar etc yang dah tak ingat... Memang not bad la. Maybe sebab kitorang 4 orang so memang senang sikit bile bahagi bile bayar something. Contoh macam naik teksi ke Airport sume senang la kan (maximum passenger taxi 4 orang jeks)

Ape lagi nak merepek. hmmmm. takde dah kot. Rindu jalan-jalan. I will definitely go to other countries in the next term!! Azam tinggi hahaha

Strawberry Fruit Picking

Salam and hi,

Dah bosan menulis esei bahase inggeris, nak tulis melayu rojak lak sekarang! hehe. Ok, due hari lepas me, my other half, izzaty, sue, n supposely hanis (but demam on the day so x pergi), halim, ulil, remy, daus and wan farah plan untuk pergi fruit picking kat York. Ni je tempat paling dekat dengan Leeds and paling senang nak reach by public transport. Well, patutnya nak sewa kereta tapi tak sangka yang seramai ni orang yang pergi sekali. Mula-mula serious plan 5 orang je. haha

From Leeds, we took the train to York yang berkala 20 minit sekali and naik bus no 10 from York Train Station. Disebabkan semua pun tak pernah pergi, so, I bukak jugaklah google maps takut sesat barat tak tau nak turun mane. Thank goodness for UK's good internet networking. So, bila nak dekat-dekat dengan Hemsley Gate tu boleh lah kring-kring bas panggil attention driver bas tu soh berenti. kiki

Here's the pictures.

Strawberry kat farm ni memang comel-comel belako. Merah and manis. Rasa macam nak jadi pekebun strawberry pulak sebab seronok tengok buah-buah comel ni. haha. Bayaran untuk masuk tempat ni free. Kita just kene bayar ikut berat strawberry yang kite petik je. Kalau banyak amek, banyaklah kena bayar. 1kg = 3.95 pound. Agak-agak la nanti. hehe.

Farm ni banyak lagi tanaman lain. Tapi sebab kitorang pergi time Mid June, buah-buah lain belum sampai masa untuk dipetik lagi. Maybe kalu pergi bulan Ogos cambest lagi sebab banyak lagi buah lain yang boleh petik, such as Rhubarb, gooseberries, raspberries dll

Check it out Here

If perasan, gambar-gambar terakhir tu ade crowd yang ramai kat jalan kan? Kitorang pun just got lucky baru tau yang time tu olympic torch relay akan berlaku in about 1 hour in York City. Fewit. Memang nampak la kesemangatan rakyat Britain ni menyambut count down hari-hari sehingga Olympic. Bukan selalu kan berlaku. Olympic dah lah 4 tahun sekali. And nak jadi host tu, bukan senang. hewhew.

And fun fact is: The olympic torch tu sebenarnye diterbangkan khas dengan keadaan masih bernyala api die dari Greece ke UK. Untuk menyalakan api die pon ade special ritual die kat Greece. Api torch tu dinyalakan dari altar of Goddess, Hera. Then, dibawa ke seluruh Greece sebagai pengumuman yang Olympic akan diadakan in specific duration of time.  Torch tu pulak nanti disambut oleh orang-orang besar Britain (btw, Beckham pun ade sekali haha) and then diorang hand-over torch tu kat host Olympic supaya diorang dapat bawak torch tu ke seluruh Britain. This is to announce yang kepada rakyat Britain tentang Olympic yang bakal menjelma. ahaks.

By the way, torch tu antara simbol paling bermakna untuk perlawanan game Olympic ni and lastly, akan ditayangkan ke satu dunia semasa opening Olympic. So, lets watch it bebeh.

this is the olympic torch UK

I like rituals and traditions. I like being ancient hehe

K tats all

Placement 1st day

Salam

So today is the first day of my GP placement. I always thought working as a GP would mean more relax time, coffee/tea time and less patients. But, today it proved me wrong! Let me brief you about the place first. I have my placement at New Croft Surgery in Horsforth, about 30 minutes bus ride from Burley Road Woodsley Road bus stop. As I arrived, I reported to Gill Robinson at the reception.

It was a bit hectic this morning. They were short of staff because one of them went off day because of DVT and the other one; I'm not sure. hehe. Ok. So, to fulfill the learning point of having to understand other jobs in GP practice, I spent all morning with the receptionist. It was awful lot of works on the front desk. I never knew they have to do many tasks at once such as answering phone calls , booking slots for patients, checking-in patients, giving out prescription notes, answering GP requests etc etc. Really no time to breathe, and I'm impressed with the receptionist's ability to talk non-stop everyday. It would be  really tiring if it was me though. I even hated to talk that much.

In my late morning session, I went to home-visit with Dr Bolton. We visited three patients at three different houses. One of them was a Cambridge Professor, dalam hati "waah, pandai gile patient ni". huhu. And he have stroke with some heart problem. He suspected that he has Basal Cell Carcinoma on his face. And bila check, it might not be cancer. It was sebarrhoeic keratosis. A benign growth of blocked sebum due to old age. It is not cancerous. So, the doctor doesn't prescribe anything for the patient. The other patient, with lots of antiques in her house, had Atrial Fibrillation (A-Fib), was presented with diarrhoea. She was just on A-fib medication so the doctor think that the diarrhoea was a side-effect of her medication. Therefore, Dr Bolton cut off some medication, which are Ramipril and can't remember the other one. During examination, he asked me to feel for A-fib pulse. I was honored to do so and I'm very suprised with the erreticness of the patient's pulse. I was seriously irregularly irregular! haha. Siyes like siyesly. Later, we went visit a patient with stiff neck and shoulder. She was a nurse and she thinks she has polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR). Dalam hati, "hebat lah patient2 ni..sumenye diorang tau da." So, the doctor took some blood for the blood test. Oh I forgot to mention, well actually, the patient offered me to take blood from her, but I was like, "sorry. it's my first day. Maybe next time". And at that moment, I regretted my action. haha. Patut buat je!

Then, I've been asked to sit with him during patients' consultation session. Alright. The first patient has cough, both sides bronchiectasis, green sputum, asthma on blue inhaler, and tightness across chest pain. Dr Bolton prescribed her with antibiotic - tetracyclin. The second one, has spider naevi on her chest. She's afraid her rodent ulcer, a type of BCC on her leg, might had spread to chest. But the doctor asked her not to worry. The next person is a bit complicated though. She is going to have heart operation on december, mitral valve operation. The doctor offered me to hear her murmur, a mitral regurgitation murmur, and it was unbelievable a loud murmur! yeaay. First time hearing a murmur, all this while dengar at youtube je. haha. She also seems to be a bit happier than before, according to Dr Bolton lah. I thought it might be because of steroid side-effects, but he said it's more likely to be due to alendronic acid, a biphosphate drug's, side effects. It is a drug for osteoporosis. By the way, she was on steroid because of her Polymyalgia Rheumatica. It was prednisolone. The next patient pulak presented with Bell's Palsy. It's interesting though, but I have to revise back my neuro thingy. haha Lupa banyak jugak. I can just answered doctor's question regarding the nerve and motor neuron involved. I have forgotten the neuro exams.

So, that's all for today. Ade lagi other patients, but I can't really remember. huhu. Hope, Allah will help me. It is really a tiring day. Penatnye keje 12 hours a day. phew phew. k bye

Dip Flower

Salam

Korang penah dengar tak pasal dip flower? Actually tau pasal bunga dip ni pun mase tengah tengok-tengok bunge untuk hantaran tunang ritu. Mama lah cakap, bunga dip ni cantik. Walaupun tak faham sangat and tak pernah tengok pun pasal bunga dip ni, tapi cam menarik jugak name die. hehe. Dah sampai UK ni lak baru teringat kan, terus google "bunga dip". Bawah ni antara gambar yang keluar.
Cantik kan?

Then, terus hatiku tertarik cantik menarik kau memang deboom lah. Tambah lagi dalam google, "how to dip flower". Haha. Dengan google ni takyah grammar betul-betul sangat. Ade lah 2-3 blog yang macam best. Diorang ni ajar cara basic nak buat dip flower.

tengok
sini cara-cara
sini nak order kat malaysia
sini yang orang jual2

Tengok ni, terus teringin nak buat sendiri gak. Rase macam takdelah susah sangat. kiki. Ye ye je. Baru gak tau yang kat UK ni diorang tak panggil dip flower. Sebab bile google, kluar benda merepek-repek je. Baru dalam hatiku nak mengorder bahan-bahan. huhu. Oleh sebab tak tau ape nak panggil solution tu kat UK, ku pun dengan berduka lara bukak la youtube video "how to make dippity flower". Tengok kat description die, ade tulis. Sometimes dippity flower is also known as fantasy film. So, ku pun terus google fantasy film (name cam ade hidden meaning je fantasy film ni haha), dan ade satu kedai kat UK ni yang jual.

Name kedai tu Fred Aldous kat Manchester. Order lebih 30 pound, free delivery. First class lak tu. Ku order hari Isnin, hari Selasa terus sampai depan umah. Hebat tak hebat. haha.

ni yang ku beli fantasy film kit GBP14.99

ni dalam die, ade tambahan beberapa tin lagi

cubaan buat bunga

ok jugak kan? please la ckp ok plish plish

Nanti bila bosan-bosan, boleh lah buat banyak2 and buat satu bouquet. hehe. Untuk yang berminat, sila lah buat jugak. Berbaloi. Boleh latih motor tangan kita. Bila selalu buat benda-benda halus ni, nanti tangan pun senang kawal, especially bila nak buat venepuncture, cannulation etc. haha.

Ok tu je kali ni
